Charlotte County Public Schools is dedicated to its mission “to cultivate ‘21st century-ready’ students, faculty, and staff with a passion for life-long learning.” This school year marks our third year of staff development focusing on increasing rigor and 21st Century learning skills into all classrooms. Facilitated by our administration and our group of Team 21 teachers, we are developing teaching strategies and lessons rich in critical thinking and problem solving, communication and collaboration, accessing and analyzing information, and curiosity and imagination.
The division continues its CASHE (Connecting All Students to Higher Education) initiative with a goal of 100% of Randolph-Henry High School graduates participating in postsecondary educational option. This program provides resources and activities in all grades (PreK-12) and maintains a CASHE Student Record Card for each student to assist with ongoing career and instructional planning at all grade levels.
All Charlotte County employees strive to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment necessary for effective instruction and student success. Thanks to the cooperative and dedicated effort of our School Board, teachers and employees, parents, business and community leaders, Board of Supervisors, and, most of all, our students, our division continues its success with all schools fully accredited.
