Qualifications:

General Responsibilities

The Student Services Director will provide leadership in coordinating specific services for student in Charlotte County Public Schools.  The director will have a working knowledge of enrollment requirements, graduation requirements, effective instructional practices, building-level administration, special education services, and data analysis.

Duties

  1. Coordinator homebound services
  2. Coordinator out-of-county enrollment
  3. Approval of homeschool/religious exemption requests
  4. Provide training for substitute teachers
  5. Assist with disaggregation of student data and development of instructional plans based on that data
  6. Coordinate with colleges/universities on student teaching
  7. Coordinate new teacher mentoring for school division
  8. Coordinator textbook adoption/purchasing for school division
  9. Serve as Title IX Coordinator
  10. Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university with a renewable Virginia teaching licensure with the Administration/Supervision PK-12 endorsement.  Preference will be given to individuals with 5 or more years of administrative experience.

Salary:     commensurate with experience
