Gifted and Talented Specialist

Charlotte County Public Schools offers the opportunity for a Gifted and Talented Specialist to work with classroom teachers division-wide on teaching and differentiating instruction for students identified as gifted and talented learners during the school day. Candidate must be child-centered and able to plan and implement an instructional program that meets the criteria established by the Virginia Standards of Learning. Experience with, and desire to utilize computer technology and resources, is a must. Knowledge of existing Gifted Plan development and testing of Gifted Students is preferred.

Minimal requirements: Must possess or be eligible for an add-on endorsement in Gifted and Talented (see second page)

Salary:   Starting teacher's salary is $38,500 + $2,112 Master's Stipend
