Charlotte County Public Schools recently celebrated the conclusion of its 2024–2025 Mentorship Program with a special event honoring both new staff members and their mentors. This end-of-year celebration marked not only the completion of the program but also the growth, collaboration, and relationships that were cultivated throughout the school year.
Each mentee was invited to share their “Pearl of Growth,” reflecting on a key lesson or insight they gained during their first year in the division. From navigating classroom challenges to building stronger relationships with students and colleagues, their stories showcased the impact of having a strong support system during such a pivotal time in their careers.
Mentors were also recognized for their invaluable guidance, encouragement, and leadership. Their willingness to invest time and care into the growth of others reflects the heart of CCPS’s commitment to fostering a culture of support and continuous learning.
The celebration served as a meaningful reminder that mentorship is more than a program—it’s a partnership. By connecting new educators with experienced professionals, CCPS is creating a community where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Thank you to all mentors, mentees, and program coordinators who helped make this year’s Mentorship Program a success. Your dedication helps ensure that every new member of the CCPS family is set up for success from day one.
