We appreciate your interest in Charlotte County Public Schools. All applications must meet Virginia Licensure requirements in order to be considered for instructional positions. CCPS accepts applications for all classifications of employees year-round. Applications submitted to the School Board Office stay in an active pool of candidates for one calendar year. At that point, the application must be updated to remain current or a new application should be completed. In the event of a vacancy, CCPS will review the current pool of applications and select qualified individuals for interviews.  Unless otherwise noted, all inquiries shall be directed to:

Coaching Vacancies:

Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience coaching. Familiarity with the VHSL rules and regulations is also preferred. According to the Code of Virginia, §22.1-296-2, any person employed after July 1, 2000, by a public school division will have their criminal history record information, from the files of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, reviewed through the submission of fingerprints.
