Congratulations!!

The VDOE recently released its Virginia Quality Birth to Five (VQB5) Honor Roll recognizing exemplary early childhood programs throughout Virginia. I am proud to inform you that the Pre-K program at Phenix Elementary was one of only three school-level programs in the Southside region to be included on the VQB5 Excellence Honor Roll, which is the highest level of recognition. This is a testament to the excellent work of Mrs. Driskill and Ms. Goldman who do a wonderful job introducing our students to school (many for the first time) and preparing them for Kindergarten. If you have visited their classroom, it is easy to see why they earned this recognition.
